Bilbao Bizkaia HARRO has finalized its dates for the 2023 edition: the rainbow of freedom and diversity will unfurl across the region between June 15th and 29th. Festive and cultural activities will be key tools for raising awareness, fostering understanding, and forging alliances in all sectors of society. The streets and squares of Bilbao will once again become a stage for advocating for the rights of LGBTI+ people. And in this ninth edition, we’re growing. This year, following in the footsteps of last year’s edition, we’ll explore the water and sea air route, as Plentzia and Santurtzi reaffirm their commitment to this event and this cause. Furthermore, this edition brings new additions: the inclusion of Mundaka.
This event celebrating sexual and gender diversity, which will include concerts, family-oriented activities, film screenings, sports activities, and the Ur Parade – a boat parade along the estuary – among other offerings, is supported by the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, the Bilbao City Council, Basquetour, the City Councils of Mundaka, Plentzia, and Santurtzi, and sponsored by La Salve, Vueling, BBK, Metro Bilbao, Euskalduna, Berdindu, Aguas Alzola, Euskotren, Euskotrenbide Sarea, the Port of Bilbao, and the Bilbao-Bizkaia Water Consortium.

Website updated. Book and purchase tickets.
This year , Bilbao Bizkaia HARRO has a completely revamped website, where you can find all the information and navigate more intuitively. This website will allow attendees to purchase tickets for specific activities, such as the Ur Parade – a boat parade along the estuary – which will take place on June 17th at 4 pm, or the human LGBTI flag that will dance to the rhythm of Zumba on Bilbao’s Gran Vía on June 18th at 12 pm .
Most of the events on BB HARRO’s program are free and open to the public, but in some cases, prior registration is required to manage the number of attendees, as these activities have limited spaces. Registration can also be done through the website. This is the case for the guided tours exploring the history and current situation of the LGBTI community in Bizkaia, which will take place in Bilbao on June 17th and 18th .
We encourage anyone who wants to immerse themselves in these events to consult the website to find out about all the cultural and leisure activities on the agenda, and to check all the information about prior registration, ticket purchase, schedules, etc.
Bilbao Bizkaia HARRO will soon announce the full program, the dates on which it will take place in each of the locations, and other practical information about spaces, schedules, services and sustainability, as well as other new features.
The countdown is on. Less than two months remain until Bilbao Bizkaia HARRO celebrates its most important event, Pride, which brings out our most beautiful colors: those of diversity. We have succeeded in positioning Bilbao, and Bizkaia, as a Pride leader in Europe. And that is truly something to be proud of. YOUR PRIDE.
Bilbao Bizkaia HARRO : Bilbao Bizkaia HARRO held its first edition in 2015, around June 28th, Pride Day. It was born with a clear mission: to celebrate sexual and gender diversity, and the freedom of LGBTI+ people through culture and fun.
2019 was a pivotal year for Bilbao Bizkaia HARRO, which opted for a more ambitious and powerful format, projecting itself globally and becoming one of the most influential events of its kind on the Atlantic coast. Over time, Bilbao Bizkaia HARRO has grown and forged alliances, and today it unites individuals, companies, organizations, and institutions with a common goal: to champion the right to be and to love. This initiative had an economic impact of €1.5 million in the Bizkaia region in 2022.
