The Ortzadar LGBT association has launched this strategic programme to involve tourism and service companies that are inherently supportive of of sexual and gender diversity.
The LGBTI Travel Allies label identifies companies that demonstrate a day-to-day commitment to diversity and offer LGBTI-specific products and services.

A tool that,in collaboration with Bizkaia Provincial Council and Bilbao City Counci, we are making this tool available to businesses to provide guidance on managing LGBTI diversity with a clear goal, to promote a business sector, especially in tourism,with values that respond to the needs of the LGBTI community.
An increasing number of companies are incorporating diversity policies as a way to make themselves stand out. This commitment is attracting a sector that is a potential user of the travel and services industry. The World Tourism Organisation provides the following data on LGBTI+ tourism
