Guided tour: Leisure, Culture and LGBTI+ scene (June 2025)

For 1 hour and 15 minutes you will tour Bilbao from another point of view: that of pride, resistance and memory of the LGBTI+ collective.
We’ll leave the Tourist Office and travel through spaces that were refuges and trenches from Franco’s persecution. You will hear unpublished testimonies, discover hidden archives and put a face to those who broke the silence when everything was against them. We give prominence to lesbian, bisexual and trans women. Those who history wanted to leave out… but who resisted, fought and transformed the city with every step. We will talk about the stigma of HIV, yes, but also the dignity with which he faced it. You will see how, out of the shadows, spaces of freedom, desire and community were born. Corners where love was rebellion and the party, a way to stay alive.
The visit will also help you to discover different corners of the city full of history and heritage.
Because Bilbao is also told from the Pride. LGBTI+ Pride. And this time, they’re not going to tell you about it: you’re going to live it.
